Crochet Hulk Coffee Cozy Pattern

Hulk Coffee Cozy Pattern

Hello everyone! As some of you may know by now, I’ve been doing a series of Marvel-themed coffee cozies at a request by my brother. So far I have an Uncanny X-Men, a Wolverine, and a Captain America pattern all done. I was actually wondering which to do next when he told me that one of his students saw the Captain America cozy he had been using at work. Apparently, this kid thought it was really cool and wanted one made with a Hulk theme. So here I am with the Hulk Coffee Cozy pattern! Enjoy!

Instructions (Attaching the arms):

  1. Using your tapestry needle and about 1 yard of green yarn you’ll now attach your arm-pieces to your cozy.
  2. Flatten the cozy so that half the front chest panel is showing to one side.
  3. Begin with the upper arm piece. Position the piece where the upper arm is tilted slightly at an angle with the top closest towards the chest piece and the bottom is tilting closer to the back of the cozy. Stitch from the top, along the back, and down to the elbow. (But not the front yet)
  4. Next position the forearm with the thicker side closest to the elbow, and slightly on top of the upper arm piece. Stitch along the bottom. (But not the top yet)
  5. Position the fist slightly overlapping the more narrow end of the forearm. Stitch along the bottom and around toward the top of this piece.
  6. Now stitch along the top of the forearm and then around the front of the upper arm to completely close off the arm piece. End off.
  7. Repeat for the second arm on the other side. And be sure to weave in all your ends.
