Crochet Pikachu Coffee Cozy Pattern

Crochet Pikachu Coffee Cozy Pattern

One of my brother’s students requested a Pikachu coffee cozy to go with the Pokeball coffee cozy I already made him. So, taking up the challenge, I made him the Pikachu cozy too. He already received his, and my brother tells me he is very happy with it. I’d like to share the pattern for free for any of you to make one too.

Notes:

  1. This cozy is made in 10 piece: the cozy (body), 2 eyes, 2 cheeks, 2 ears, 2 stripes, and 1 tail.
  2. Numbers at the end of the instructions: In square brackets “[ ]” will be the total stitch count for that row/round.
  3. On the cozy: the first chain in each row/round does not count as your first stitch, so don’t skip your first stitch.
  4. An increase is 2 stitches made in the same stitch.
  5. The ear pieces: you will start with a chain, crochet up one side, rotate at the tip, and crochet down the other side of the chain.
  6. The tail piece: you will start with a chain and make a zig-zag pattern to create the lightning bolt tail shape.
