Handmade For Baby
Hello everyone! So…this little man is my nephew. He is the recipient of the Block-Border Baby Blanket I made last year. This post today is to show some of the cute, handmade things that he got in the baby shower. Or to be more accurate, his parents got the gifts while he was still baking in his mom’s baby-oven.
But mostly, I needed an excuse to take pictures of him and show him off! Heheheh.
This little man got a whole bunch of sewn and crocheted blankets. Here I’ll just put up a few of them.
Tunisian Crochet Blanket (by mom, his great aunt)
Winnie the Pooh Sewn Blanket (by my aunt, his grandma)
Crocheted Baseball Blanket (by mom, also)
Crocheted Block-Border Blanket (by me, his first cousin once removed; nephew is easier to say)
Beanie and Coats
My aunt, a first-time grandma, went nuts making adorable sewn items for my nephew: diaper stackers, bed linens, little shirts, blankets, and some adorable coats, like these:
Mom made several little beanies too along with the blankets she stitched up. These blue and white ones are among my favorites:
By far, these aren’t all the items he received. But they are some cute ones. Perhaps in the near future I can make another post to show off some more items…and him, of course. 😉
