Movie Mandala – Kida
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Hello everyone! I’m back with another Movie Mandala for mom’s mandala blanket. This one is of Princess Kidagakash (Kida, for short) from Disney’s Atlantis The Lost Empire. Mom barely remembered this princess, since it’s not only been a long time since the movie came out, but because she isn’t one of the better known princesses. But I gotta say, her color palette produced one pretty crochet mandala.
Kida the Ruler
Now, she may not be well known, but she’s one of my favorites. Curious, brave, strong, and smart, Kida became the ruler of the Atlantis Empire before the end of the story. This may not be Disney’s top notch film-making, but it’s worth checking out at least once just for Kida.
Pattern and Palette
If you’d like to make your own Kida mandala, I’ll include a link to the pattern below and the color palette I used to select my yarns.
The mandala pattern is from A Creative Being.
Kida’s color palette is made from her outfit, tattoos, and awesome white hair. It made for a nifty color combination. Check out the yarns below to make your own Kida Movie Mandala.
- Big Twist Yarns Value in Scarlet
- Red Heart Super Saver in Light Periwinkle
- Red Heart Super Saver Accent in Pool
- Red Heart Super Saver in Lemon
- Red Heart Super Saver in White
