Movie Mandala – Rapunzel
Hello everyone! Another week, another Movie Mandala! With my mother making a princess mandala blanket out of the Disney-themed crochet mandalas I’ve been making, I’m dedicating the next several Movie Mandala posts to add up enough princess mandalas for her project. This means I’ll likely be doing a couple Movie Mandala posts on the same movies so I can get more mandalas made of the characters I like from those films. Mom and I will likely turn them into blankets too.
So what did I choose for this mandala? Well, with my little cousins and nieces and nephews in mind, I chose another princess I knew they liked: Rapunzel. Okay, I’ll be fair, I liked her too. Heheh.
Pattern and Palette
If you’d like to make your own mandala, I’ll be including the link to the pattern I used as well as the color palette I made for this project.
I used the crochet pattern by A Creative Being to make this mandala. It’s simple to follow and easy to adjust according to the finished size you want, so I definitely recommend using it.
Now, as I do with all my palettes, I tend to limit myself to five colors, but you can, of course, use as many hues as you see fit for your project.
Yarns I Used:
- Red Heart Super Saver in Medium Purple
- Red Heart Super Save in LightOrchid
- Red Heart Super Saver in Lemon
- Big Twist Yarns Value in Gold
- Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Fern
Until Next Time
