Movie Mandala – Tinker Bell
Hello everyone! I”m here with the last Movie Mandala for mom’s mandala blanket. This one is of Tinker Bell. Okay, so clearly Tinker Bell isn’t a Disney Princesss, but she is one of mom’s favorite characters from the Disney films, so she’s going in the mandala blanket. Eventually I’ll be making a couple more characters from the Peter Pan movie, but for this post it’ll just be the mischievous fairy.
Tinker Bell was an interesting character in the Peter Pan movie. Fiesty, temperamental, and loyal, she had a small role in the film but played an important role in Peter’s life in Neverland. Tiny but tough. I remember always wondering what she said when all we could hear were the tingling of bells.
Pattern and Palette
If you’d like to make your own Tinker Bell mandala, I’ll include a link to the pattern below and the color palette I used to select my yarns.
The mandala pattern is from A Creative Being.
For the last few years there have been several Tinker Bell and fairy movies, so I had to narrow down which colors I wanted to use for her palette. Although primarily they tend to design her with a green outfit, so I decided to make a palette that uses her original outfit, the one from Peter Pan the movie.
