Star Wars Crochet Cozy Series – Part 1 – Chewbacca

Star Wars Cozies

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve posted. That eye injury I had made crocheting a bit tough, but it seems to be more or less under control now. I’ve not been idle thought! My big brother got a few more requests from his coworkers for me to make them coffee cozies. And luckily, since I was going to be working on these specific patterns anyway, the cozies ended up being all Star Wars themed. So from now on until mid to late December you will be seeing posts with my Star Wars Crochet Coffee Cozy Series. And we shall begin with the tough and lovable Chewbacca.

Don’t forget to read the Notes section before you begin the pattern; it’ll give you some tips to make sure you get it well.

Finishing Up

Time to attach the bandoliers to the cozy! Pick one side of the cozy to the be front of Chewbacca’s chest. Angle the bandolier at an incline; on the left it will be attached at the bottom, and at the right it will be attached at the top. On the back of the cozy, you will be angling it with a decline. On the left will be attached to the top, and at the right it will be attached to the bottom. Essentially, you’re making it look like it is draped over his left shoulder. And you’re done!
