Assembly

With all your pieces finished, you’re ready for assembly. Grab at least 1 1/2 to 2 yards of black yarn and add it in to the the tapestry needle. Note: if possible, try not to cut the yarn after each piece you attach; instead weave it around the inside of the cozy to get to the next piece.

Let’s begin with the top. Place the eye pieces so that the more narrow end is on the inside. Then move on to stitching on the nose piece.

Next, you’ll grab the two side pieces and the mouthpiece and stitch them in place.

Then grab the grey vent pieces that will go along the sides. The way I stitched them on is to make lines with the black yarn across the pieces, to make them look more like small vents.
