Star Wars Temperature Blankets Project – Movie 1 – Part 12

The Last Month

Hello everyone! Alright, here we are finally at the last month of the “A New Hope” temperature blanket. By this point, I ran out of filming locations I could assign to the different months, so I had to think of something a little different for the December-panel. Since this was a gift for my husband, I chose to make December the temperatures of that month where he was born. And as luck would have it, he was actually born on December of 1977, so I it actually kept it all nicely consistent. For your own December-panel I would suggest being creative with it and fill it in with anything you’d like.

Temperatures and Colors

This panel, I think, turned out quite pretty. Something abou the alternating yellows and pinks dotted with oranges looked appealing to me. However, like the November-panel, at one point I ran out a specific color. I swore I had enough! But apparently I was wrong, and ended up having to order that one online too. Worth the wait!

The chart below has the temperatures I used for this panel. Since yours might be different, simply use it as a template to create your personalized chart.

The Final Post

And we’re done with all the panels now! The next and final post on the Star Wars “A New Hope” Temperature Blanket is going to include assembly instructions, the two text-panels saying “Star Wars” and “A New Hope”, and final photos.
